Melhorn & Melhorn, D.O., Inc. is comprised of Frederick R. Melhorn, D.O., retired in October 2007, Steven W. Melhorn, D.O. and Robert L. Quarles, D.O. 

Doctors of Osteopathy (D.O.) are licensed physicians just like Medical Doctors (M.D.).  Our practice is based and focuses on the fundamental principles of Osteopathic Medicine of treating people, not just the symptoms, and offering individualized patient care.  While this is for the most part a primary care practice, Dr. Steve Melhorn and Dr. Robert Quarles are trained to use Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) to diagnose and treat patients with musculoskeletal problems.  OMT is designed to affect muscles and soft tissue, optimizing blood circulation and restoring health, while other forms of manipulation tend to focus more on spinal manipulation and nerve transmission.
